Welcome to Shkti. The terms "we", "us", and "our" refer to Shkti. Shkti operates this online store and website, including related information, content, features, tools, products, and services, to provide customers with a curated shopping experience. The store is powered by Shopify.

These Terms of Service, together with any policies referenced here, describe your rights and responsibilities when you visit, browse, purchase from, or otherwise use the Shkti store.

By using our store or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the store or purchase from us.

1. Access and Account

You must be at least the age of majority in your state or territory of residence to use this store or place an order. If you create an account or provide information during checkout, you confirm that the information is accurate, current, and complete.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

2. Products

We make reasonable efforts to display products, colours, fabrics, measurements, and details accurately. Actual colours, textures, print placement, or appearance may vary due to screen settings, lighting, production processes, block-print or screen-print variations, and natural fabric behaviour.

Small variations in handmade, hand-block, screen-printed, cotton, or craft-led products are not defects unless they materially affect product use.

Product descriptions, prices, availability, and specifications may change without notice.

3. Orders and Acceptance

When you place an order, you make an offer to purchase the selected products. We may accept, reject, cancel, or limit any order where necessary, including because of stock errors, payment issues, pricing errors, suspected misuse, or operational constraints.

An order is accepted only after payment is received and we confirm the order.

4. Cancellation

We do not accept voluntary cancellation requests once an order has been placed. Please review your items, size, address and payment details before ordering. This does not limit cancellation, return or refund rights available under applicable law, including for defective, wrong or misdescribed products.

5. Prices, Taxes, and Billing

Prices are listed in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise. Prices may change without notice. The price charged will be the price shown at the time the order is placed, subject to correction of obvious errors.

Unless stated otherwise, prices may exclude shipping charges or other charges shown during checkout. Shkti is registered under GST (GSTIN: 27ABTPM1359A1ZM). Applicable taxes and charges are shown at checkout.

You agree to provide accurate billing, shipping, contact, and payment information.

6. Payment

Payments may be processed through Shopify-supported payment methods and payment partners such as Razorpay or other enabled providers. Payment providers may have their own terms, privacy policies, and processing timelines.

We do not store full card details on our own systems.

7. Shipping and Delivery

We currently ship within India only.

Delivery timelines shown on the store are estimates. We are not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, incorrect shipping information, weather, strikes, public holidays, force majeure events, or events outside our reasonable control.

Risk in the product passes according to applicable law and courier handling once the product is delivered to the shipping address provided by you.

8. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

Returns, exchanges, and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Please review the Refund Policy before placing an order.

We may reject return or refund requests that do not meet the published policy, including where products are used, washed, damaged after delivery, missing tags, missing packaging, or returned outside the policy window.

9. Care, Fit, and Product Use

Customers are responsible for checking size charts, fit notes, product descriptions, and care instructions before purchase.

Natural cotton, hand-block prints, screen prints, and dyed fabrics may require careful washing and handling. Shkti is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect washing, harsh detergents, bleaching, soaking, ironing errors, or failure to follow care instructions.

10. Lab Testing and Product Claims

Any lab-test, chemical-safety, colour-fastness, or print-durability claim will apply only where Shkti has received relevant test reports and has published the claim for the applicable fabric/product.

General brand storytelling, fabric origin notes, and craft descriptions should not be read as lab certification unless expressly stated.

11. Intellectual Property

All store content, including the Shkti name, logo, product names, text, images, graphics, design, layout, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Shkti unless stated otherwise.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell, or exploit any store content without prior written permission.

12. Third-Party Tools and Links

The store may include tools, apps, links, payment services, sales channels, analytics tools, or embedded features provided by third parties, including Shopify and other service providers. We are not responsible for third-party websites, tools, policies, or services.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

13. Relationship with Shopify

Shkti is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the store and checkout experience. Sales and purchases made through the store are made directly with Shkti, not Shopify. Shopify is not responsible for products sold by Shkti or for any issue arising from your purchase from Shkti, except as required by applicable law or Shopify's own policies.

14. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Because the store is hosted by Shopify, Shopify and other service providers may process information as described in the Privacy Policy.

15. Feedback and Reviews

If you submit feedback, reviews, photos, messages, or other content to us or through the store, you grant Shkti a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, publish, display, and adapt that content for store operations, customer support, product improvement, marketing, and promotional purposes, subject to applicable law.

You confirm that any content you submit is accurate, lawful, and does not violate the rights of any third party.

16. Errors and Availability

Information on the store may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, availability, offers, shipping charges, or timelines. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

20. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Shkti harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the store, violation of law, or infringement of third-party rights.

21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute relating to the store or purchases from Shkti will be governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer protection laws, courts and forums having jurisdiction in Nashik, Maharashtra, India will have jurisdiction.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting the updated version on the store. The updated Terms will apply from the date posted unless stated otherwise.
